Líneas de investigación

En mi Laboratorio de Tecnologías Biomimeticas estamos enfocados al desarrollo y el estudio de:

1) Vehículos farmacéuticos en la que liberación de principios activos imite la biodisponiblidad y biodistribución de factores, citokinas y ácidos nucleicos en el organismo.
2) El desarrollo de scaffolds celulares y acelulares que imiten la arquitectura y/o funcionalidad de los tejidos con fines de regeneración.
3) Biomateriales inteligentes y bioresponsivos a estímulos fisiopatológicos. Ejemplos de estos estímulos incluyen pH, temperatura y radicales de oxígeno.
4) Ingeniería de superficies y recubrimientos aplicado a prótesis e implantes médicos.
5) Respuesta inmunológica a los biomateriales.
