Áreas o líneas de investigación:
- Diseño y síntesis de complejos de coordinación con aplicaciones en reacciones de polimerización de olefinas.
- Catálisis heterogénea, modulación de reactividad por acciones de ácidos de Lewis presentes en el soporte.
- Preparación de nanocompositos mediante polimerización in-situ.
Investigación actual:
La investigación que estamos desarrollando, contempla la síntesis de nuevos complejos organometálicos, los cuales a través de activación exocíclica con ácidos de Lewis, generan sistemas catalíticos más eficientes para polimerización de olefinas. Estos sistemas pueden ser aplicables a catálisis heterogénea y a través de ésta convertirse en nuevas tecnologías de interés industrial.
