Áreas o líneas de investigación:
Fisicoquímica Inorgánica. Síntesis, estudio de propiedades fisicoquimicas y potenciales aplicaciones (por ej. en celdas solares), de complejos de metales de transición.

Investigación actual:
La investigación abordada se centra en el diseño, síntesis, caracterización y estudio de propiedades de complejos polipiridínicos de metales de transición, con miras a su potencial aplicación como tinturas de celdas solares fotoelectroquímicas, o en dispositivos LED o de respuesta óptica no lineal. La metodología de trabajo involucra tanto experimentos como cálculos moleculares, y se centra principalmente en metales como Ru, Re y Cu.
